Winnipeg Public Library

We went for a walk today to the Winnipeg Public Library. The librarian told us all about the things we can do at the library and the items we can borrow from the library. They have books, videos, and more for us to use! The librarian also read us a good book, and a couple librarians put on a puppet show for us -- based on a favourite author of ours! Then she showed us the sections of the library that would be of interest to us. We got to look at books, colour, and check out the cool chairs that they have. Anyone who brought a library card from home, or got a brand new library card today was allowed to sign out 2 books. 
PARENTS: Your child is bringing home their new library card. Library books are due back in 3 weeks. Please return the public library books to any Winnipeg Public Library. Your child was told that they can sign out up to 50 books at a time -- once a parent comes in with them and shows some i.d. to finalize the new library card.
